We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the highly anticipated 2024 Texas Cannabis Policy Conference! This must-attend event will be hosted at the prestigious Texas A&M University and will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including policy makers, industry leaders, cannabis researchers, and advocates.
The federal government is finally taking meaningful steps toward reclassifying cannabis, but the process could take years. How much of a difference will this change actually make? How will the federal change impact Texas policy?
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from experts about the latest developments in the cannabis industry, legislative updates, and pending lawsuits that could upend the industry as we know it. Plus, you will gain invaluable insights into advancing cannabis science and what it means for the future of product development.
Over the last five years, the cannabis industry has experienced an unexpected evolution, prompting states across the country to reconsider their hemp and marijuana policies. As the cannabis industry in Texas continues to flourish, responsible actors are providing high-quality products to adult consumers, contributing to the multi-billion dollar industry. Meanwhile, bad actors are getting away with selling potentially dangerous products with little or no accountability. Conference speakers will address regulatory short-comings regarding intoxicating hemp products, emphasizing the need for consumer protection and industry accountability.
The conference will be hosted at Texas A&M University, with the generous sponsorship of their esteemed Soil and Crops Sciences Department. We are also proud to feature the groundbreaking work of Rare Earth Genomics, who have partnered with the university to conduct innovative research on hemp genetics and its various applications.
